2012 Already?

The BFFs. :)

The end of 2011 was summed up on a positive note albeit the busy work schedule I had. I finally met up with most of long-lost friends, from my primary school mates to my poly mates, who have been pretty busy after graduation, mostly busy with either their career or their studies, and the guys, are nonetheless slogging out in the army. Haha.

Christmas celebration, New Year celebration, and now with Chinese New Year just round the corner, it’s literally feasting session back to back for me. Hurrrrr.

Maybe I should do a little summary of what took place in 2011, everything is happening so swiftly I need to keep track of what I’ve been doing with my life. Ha. Just like that, 6 months is coming to an end….. Sigh. The whole mixed feeling I have about this is starting to kick in again. =/

Over The Weekend

Took my camera out with me over the weekend as I travelled around Singapore with the boy and his family in search for furnitures for their home. We drove all the way up to the west, then to the north, and then back to the east where we had Ikea for late lunch.

Their Swedish Meatballs are, as usual, are my all-time-favourite-must-have dish whenever I visit their store. Heh. Anyway, I finally manage to try some of the camera art scene effect that day, and I really like the black and white effect. Good investment indeed.

On a completely random note, my new maid has arrived, and I’m still feeling really awkward and uncomfortable having someone serve me. =S

First Light from the Pen

Recently got my hands on my new toy, the Olympus Pen, which was going at a really good deal at the recent Sitex fair. I would say it’s a pretty decent semi-pro camera with a few art scene to play around, and I’m lovin’ every bit of it for now. Heh.

1. First few shots was noneother than my dog, Brownie, who’s getting really old now. She’s coming 8 this 2012, and to be honest, she’s the one I’ll be worried most when I leave Singapore next year, not to mention, how much I’ll miss her. Sigh.

2. Moving on, it’s already the month of celebration, December. How time flies, 9 more weeks to awesome Singapore food before I start whining about how much I crave for them miles away. Therefore, I’m making good use of my time now to enjoy as much Singapore delights as I can, which explains the feasting at Bedok 85 with my boy and Danial last Friday. My favourite Ou Lua, Sambal Stingray, Ba Chor Mee…. & How can I forget, Hokkien Prawn Mee, Kuay Chap, Chicken Rice, Mutton Soup, Prata. Nomzzz.

Life As It Is

I can’t believe it’s been close to a month since I actually last updated this space. Time really flies when you least expect. I’ve been drowning in work every single (week)day, especially now that most of my colleague at work are clearing their outstanding leave balance and with our year end accounts closing soon, work is definitely getting really hectic.

On a completely different note, my student visa is finally done, which means it’s 13 more weeks before I say goodbye to Singapore, and hello to Brisbane.

It’s a rather mixed of emotion I feel every time I think of it, albeit the fact that I can actually go overseas to study what I really I want. Sigh It’s gonna be months away from the loves I love – my family, my dog, my grandma, my boyfriend, all my friends.

I think I’ll probably slow down my pace blogging in this space for now, but come this February, it’s a whole new life. I bet this space of mine will be filled with my experience over in Brisbane. Hee.

Till I have something more interesting to share, it’s now Hello November. Ha.

Hello October.

1. Another new knitted top added to my collection. Hee hee hee. & Last weekend was well-spent with the boy, roaming in town, and catching up with our lives. Sadly, he’s been so pre-occupied with his school work, while I’ve been really busy with work, hence time spent together are pretty limited and precious ;(

2. Last weekend, I finally got my hands of my Chloe, and I’m loving every bit of it. From the packaging to the sweet smelling fragrant. It’s about time I made a switch from my previous fragrant. Heh.

3. & WHY DO WEEKENDS COME AND GO SO QUICKLY?!?!?
